ADOPTION PENDING

Of all the snuggle monsters in the world this little fellow is absolutely the snuggliest. If you lie down on the couch, he will wake up from the deepest of sleeps from way across the room, come over and pounce on your chest, to lie there on you. In a former life he must have been a teddy bear. Ricochet came to us from an Alabama shelter and has made himself quite comfortable in his foster home. He is okay with being crated, but does whine some when left alone. However there are no accidents in the crate when you get home and he's always happy to see you! For his first two nights Ricochet dutifully slept in his crate, but once his foster mom became acquainted with his advanced snuggling skills, he was allowed to move to the bed. He has been making good progress with house training, and has learned to sit for treats. Ricochet gets along great with his 4-year old foster brother and they play well with each other. On some evenings they put on quite a performance howling at the neighbor cats together. He enjoys exploring his backyard and isn't much of digger. He might steal your laundry from the basket or take your shoe into the other room, but he won't destroy them. Ricochet is heartworm negative and is scheduled to be neutered on 1/25. He will be ready for a sleepover soon after that.
