RUDY HAS A SLEEPOVER SCHEDULED

Hello Humans!  My name is Rudy and I am seeking a furever family.

When I first arrived at the rescue, I was very scared and unsure of where my life was going.  All the sights, sounds and smells were different and not what I was used to experiencing.  After a few days at the vet, I finally arrived at my foster home.  This is when my life started getting good!

My new foster home has two other beagles that have welcomed me with open paws.  These two new friends have taught me to play, be a part of a pack and that sleeping on my foster mom is very comfy.   I am learning the rules regarding potty time.  Accidents occurred here and there… but who’s perfect, right?   My foster family is very proud of my potty progress and is very confident that I will keep improving!  I am also learning to “go to my room.”  You may know this as a crate.  I have a soft, fluffy bed and I eat all my meals in my room.  I love going to my room so much that sometimes I just go sit in there and wait for the treat.  I can also just give my foster human a glimpse of my beautiful brown eyes and she gives me treats.  My confidence is growing and my gentle soul is strong!

Speaking of my good looks… I have the most spectacular deep red coat that bring out my beautiful brown eyes.  My fur is short and sheds minimally (except when I am nervous).   Bath time is easy.  It’s not my favorite way to spend my Saturday morning but I do like being massaged with warm water running down my back.   I look very handsome and ridiculously adorable!

What am I looking for in a furever home?  I think being with another dog would be very helpful to my progress.  A patient human who will take me to training class would also be great.  I still have lots to learn about life as a rescued dog!

New Arrival:  RUDY just arrived from a North Florida shelter.  He was a little unsure when I sat him in my lap, cleaned his ears and petted him, like so many shelter dogs that are not use to being with people.  But with a little patience and TLC I am confident RUDY will come out of his shell and learn to trust again.
