ADOPTION PENDING

Update 4/21/22-The foster mom says Rico is doing well with house training. He has learned to use the pet door to go out into the yard. He likes sunning himself in the yard. He sleeps in his crate throughout the nigh. Rico gets along with the other dog in the house and they have begun to play with each other. He is very active and affectionate. He sometimes will jumps on her legs for attention and she is teaching him "down"

***UPDATE*** Rico arrived and stole our hearts with his soulful eyes! He may seem a bit uncertain as he is still so young and has had a lot of changes in his short life, but Rico warms up quickly, especially if you are gentle. Just like his Louisiana foster mom said, "once he loves you, he wants to be right in your lap giving kisses." He is a sweet lover. Rico is settling in very well in his foster home and getting along great with the other dog. He is also doing excellent with his potty training - even with new surroundings and a different routine!

Rico longs to be your lover, but he needs to be sure before he decides to love you. He probably has not had a lot of experience meeting new people, but once he loves you,  he wants to be right in your lap giving kisses. He loves to play and wrestle with his doggy friends, and seems to feel more secure with other dogs.  He is doing well with housetraining in his Louisiana foster home.
