RILEY was picked up as a stray standing by the body of his brother who had been struck by a car and killed.  He was such a friendly dog (as you can see by his smile!)  that everyone at the shelter was quite surprised that no one came to claim him.  His time was up  - but he was rescued by SEBR.

RILEY is a great little Beagle Boy who gets along marvelously with other dogs home. He really loves toys, crates very well and sleeps quietly through the night. Like most Beagles, he is highly food motivated and his foster mom is using this to help him redirect some of his super enthusiastic energy and fine tune his house manners. He really doesn't bark very much and when he does he has the cutest little trill (not your usual Beagle bark!) Riley is also very sweet and affectionate and loves to be cuddled. But Riley's just about favorite thing to do is to play - with other dogs or people, tug of war with a toy, or just running at top speed around the yard. He is a dog full of life and love.
